• You can skip paying for monitoring if you don't want professional monitoring. If you want professional monitoring if the system detects a problem, it's $19.99 per month and no long term commitment. Can go month to month.

• You have your option. You can subscribe monthly with no contract, or you can choose to self-monitor. If you choose the latter, you will receive text and email alerts. You can set rules on when and how they come.
