“Does this unit aerate the water with some sort of pump or is the water stagnate?”

• A pump runs periodically to circulate the water to the top of the pods. It doesn’t circulate to aerate or otherwise keep the water fresh although I think there is a filter . There is a two week reminder to change the water and add liquid fertilizer.

• There’s a pump that circulates the water.

• It doesn’t aerate the water i.e. add air, but it does circulate the water on scheduled cycles, so the water is not stagnant
