“Are these lenses compatible with the D3200 series? the Nikon website indicates one thing and the Bestbuy indicates another. Could we get clarification if it does or not before i consider purchasing these lenses.”

Only one of the lenses in this kit, the AF-S DX Micro NIKKOR 40mm f/2.8G Lens, is compatible with the D3200. The AF-P DX NIKKOR 10-20mm f/4.5-5.6G VR Lens is not compatible with the D3200. The D3200 will recognize AF-P lenses but it will not be able to focus them either via autofocus or manually.
