  • QuestionAre these compatible to the D3500?

    Asked by IamJigga.

    • Answer Yes, both the AF-P DX NIKKOR 10-20mm f/4.5-5.6G VR Wide-Angle Zoom Lens and AF-S DX Micro NIKKOR 40mm f/2.8G Macro Lens are compatible with the Nikon D3500 Digital SLR camera. The D3500 is compatible with all AF-S and AF-P lenses with G and E type apertures.

  • QuestionHi. Are these lenses compatible with D7200

    Asked by Vini.

    • Answer Both of the lenses in this kit are compatible with the D7200. The AF-S DX Micro NIKKOR 40mm f/2.8G is fully compatible with the D7200 without limitations. The AF-P DX NIKKOR 10-20mm f/4.5-5.6G VR Lens is compatible with the D7200 but has limitations. When the AF-P DX NIKKOR 10-20mm f/4.5-5.6G VR Lens is used on the D7200 the Vibration Reduction (VR) in the lens can not be disabled. In addition, the focus ring on the AF-P DX NIKKOR 10-20mm f/4.5-5.6G VR Lens cannot be disabled when using the autofocus mode on the D7200; the lens can be manually focused by using the focus ring.

  • QuestionAre these lenses compatible with the D3200 series? the Nikon website indicates one thing and the Bestbuy indicates another. Could we get clarification if it does or not before i consider purchasing these lenses.

    Asked by sdatx.

    • Answer Only one of the lenses in this kit, the AF-S DX Micro NIKKOR 40mm f/2.8G Lens, is compatible with the D3200. The AF-P DX NIKKOR 10-20mm f/4.5-5.6G VR Lens is not compatible with the D3200. The D3200 will recognize AF-P lenses but it will not be able to focus them either via autofocus or manually.

  • QuestionAre these lens compatible with the D7100 body?

    Asked by mnddvssl.

    • Answer The AF-S DX Micro NIKKOR 40mm f/2.8G is fully compatible with the D7100. The AF-P DX NIKKOR 70-300mm f/4.5-6.3G ED VR (20062)Lens is compatible with the D7100 with limitations. One limitation of AF-P lenses on the D7100 concerns the Vibration Reduction (VR) feature. Because the camera does not have the menu option to turn optical VR on or off, the VR cannot be disabled. Another limitation of AF-P lenses on the D7100 is that the focus ring on the lens cannot be disabled when using the autofocus mode on this camera; the lens can continue to be manually focused using the focus ring while in autofocus mode.

  • Questionwill these work with Nikon DX model D5000?

    Asked by la0880.

    • Answer While the Nikon D5000 DSLR camera is completely compatible with the Nikon AF-S DX Micro NIKKOR 40mm f/2.8G lens, it is not compatible with AF-P type lenses like the AF-P DX NIKKOR 10-20mm f/4.5-5.6G VR lens. Some newer cameras in the Nikon D5000 line-up, like the Nikon D5500 and the Nikon D5600 are compatible with both of these lenses, but may need a firmware update to use AF-P type lens. • Answer While the Nikon D5200 DSLR camera is completely compatible with the Nikon AF-S DX Micro NIKKOR 40mm f/2.8G lens, it has some limitations using AF-P type lenses like the AF-P DX NIKKOR 10-20mm f/4.5-5.6G VR lens.
