While the Nikon D5200 DSLR camera is completely compatible with the Nikon AF-S DX Micro NIKKOR 40mm f/2.8G lens, it has some limitations using AF-P type lenses like the AF-P DX NIKKOR 10-20mm f/4.5-5.6G VR lens. One limitation on this camera, when using this AF-P lens, is that Vibration Reduction (VR) cannot be disabled. Another is that the focus ring on the lens cannot be disabled when in autofocus mode. Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I don’t know if these lenses are compatible with the D5200. I purchased them for the D5500. If you look under product description you can see which models these lenses are compatible with. The D5200 isn’t listed under fully compatible but is listed under compatible models with limited functions. Don’t know what they mean by limited functions.
