Hi, thank you for your inquiry. Appliances model FAFW3801LW and AEQ8700FE are not compatible for stacking because of the changes in specifications due to the difference in age. Both appliances require different stacking kits and due to safety concerns we do not recommend that they are stacked. Laundry appliance FAFW3801LW is compatible for stacking with washer FAQE7001LW and FAQG7001LW with the use of kit number STACKIT4X.
