- Answer Hi, thank you for your inquiry. Due to the innovations made to the Affinity models, the current model number you own (AGQ6700FS) and newly manufactured Affinity models are not compatible for stacking. Both appliances require different stacking kits because the specifications have changed. Due to safety concerns we do not recommend that they are stacked. - Answer Hi Anonymous, Due to the possible difference in dimensions between the different branded laundry appliances and the stack kits, we would not recommend stacking laundry appliances of different brands. Even within the same brand appliance you will have to compare the dimensions to ensure they are compatible with each other and the stack kit before attempting to stack the appliances. - Answer Hi CorviaB In order to provide accurate information we would need to know the model#’s of the washer and dryer you want to stack. Once you can provide that we can certainly confirm if you can use this stack kit and if not we can provide the correct stacking kit that may be required. QuestionFTF2140ESO repair and replacement compatibility for stacking with FEO1442CESO dryerHi, I have a Frigidaire FTF2140ESO front load washer that is making a high pitched screeching noise on the final spin cycle. I ran the diagnostics test and the washer is giving me an error code of 41 (door locking assembly). This error code seems erroneous and unrelated to the actual issue, is it? Any insight would be greatly appreciated. Also, if I need to replace the washer (it is discontinued), which model can I buy that would be compatible for stacking with my FEO1442CESO Frigidaire dryer. In researching the model FTF2140ESo, we were able to identify the error code of 41, is typical dealing with a communication with the board thinking the door switch is open. QuestionWhat newer Affinity Front Loading Washer Will Stack with my Dryer?I currently have an Affinity Front Loading washer and dryer that are stacked. Their model numbers are Washer ATF6700FS1 (the one that needs replacing) and Dryer AEQ6700FS0. I need to know a model that is equivalent to the ATF6700FS1 washer that can be stacked with the current dryer that I have.

- Answer That is a very good question Taya! I see that you currently are the owner of our very popular Affinity series line. After further research, I was able to verify that new and re-designed Affinity laundry units do not have the same specifications as the older models; therefore they are not safe for stacking and they require a different stacking kit. In order to obtain a unit compatible for stacking with your dryer, we recommend that you purchase the same model as the one you currently own. I understand that this may be difficult as this model number may be harder to find due to its age. Please feel free to contact us directly to further assist you. We appreciate your inquiry. If this unit is of a different brand we cannot recommend that they are stacked as we cannot guarantee their compatibility. - Answer Hi, Great question! Unit model LTF290FE0 is not compatible for installation with unit model FAQE7001LW as the Affinity line has been redesigned and therefore has different specifications. There is not a kit available that will safely stack these two units. Thank you.

Questionstacking a newer washer with and older model dryer-all frigidaireI have a Frigidaire washer #FAFW3801LWZ dated 08/11 my dryer is a Frigidaire #GLE0642AS2 dated 03/06. Is it possible for me to stack these? I was told when purchasing the new washer that I could and paid for numerous brackets that were sent my way. No directions came with brackets and not sure where to go from .. Would really like them stacked. Thank you

It is not recommended that the unit is stacked with unit model LEQ642DS as its specifications are different which makes both these unit un-compatible. Thank you.
