Q: Questioncan they be used for swimming?
Asked by Anonymous.
- A:Answer Hey there! Aeropex headphones are considered waterproof with an IP67 rating and can be submerged in water up to a meter deep safely for 30 minutes; however, we don't recommend them for swimming due to the law of physics. All Bluetooth devices use 2.4GHz radio frequency—which does not work well in water, therefore, when any Bluetooth device is put underwater, the range is just few inches. We'd recommend Xtrainerz for swimming purposes due to the MP3 capability.

- A:Answer Hey there! Aeropex is equipped with Bluetooth v5.0 and can be connected to up to two Bluetooth devices, therefore, if your TV has Bluetooth capabilities then Aeropex should be able to connect to it. If your TV does not have Bluetooth capability, we recommend using a Bluetooth transmitter device to connect your AfterShokz headphones to your TV.

Q: Questionwill these work for swimming?
Asked by AnnK.
- A:Answer Hey Ann! Aeropex is rated IP-67 which means it can be submerged in water up to a meter deep for thirty minutes; however, we don't recommend it for swimming. All Bluetooth devices use 2.4GHz radio frequency, which does not work well in water; this is due to laws of physics, as water molecules attenuate the signal; when any Bluetooth device is put underwater, the range is just few inches. If you're looking for headphones you can swim with, we recommend Xtrainerz. We designed Xtrainerz with this in mind, fully understanding the limits of Bluetooth capability, that is why the Xtrainerz is MP3 capable only.

Q: QuestionAre these headphones good for doing voice to text dictation for medical documentation in a noisy area where you need to hear your surroundings but want to document in real time?
Asked by 2021.
- A:Answer It depends how noisy. I think you would find the ambient noise too loud especially if you were trying to code surgical notes. You’d be better off wearing a full ear headset on one ear.

Q: QuestionWhere is the battery. mine won’t charge anymore
Asked by Anonymous.
- A:Answer If your device has the micro mail plug in to charge it you may have bent a little small piece that is centered in the reception part of the headset and it is not properly seated so therefore it will not charge. If you have a steady hand you may take something to straighten out that centerpiece and be careful with plugging in the micro plug and it will see properly after the correction of centering that piece.

Q: QuestionDoes Best Buy carry the Mini size of Aeropex for kids or teens?
Asked by Dad.
- A:Answer As far as I know there is not an aftershock device that is strictly made for children. The size is universal for an adult. But it would be nice if they had various sizes for the various cranial size of a person’s head.

Q: QuestionIt is stated that these headphones are waterproof. Can you use these headphones while swimming in the pool?
Asked by Teknocuk.
- A:Answer No you may not submerge these devices or expose them to large quantities of water. The device is basically waterproof for wearing it around your head when you were doing activities that it will make you sweat. They are protected from sweat and may be a very light mist of rain. I have been in both situations and had no malfunctions.

Q: QuestionI have Mineres so its hard to hear in a loud room with people if I'm talking to someone. Or if I'm driving and a train is comin, it hurts because it's so loud! Does these help with outside noise?
Asked by Lisa.
- A:Answer This device is designed to do both open-air and you may have this device so that it is not an open air by placing in the earplugs that are supplied with the aftershock Bluetooth listening device. And I must say that having it open air you are able to hear slightly those that are around youOr a noise that may be hazardous to you. But once you place the earplugs in basically you can only hear the sound coming through the device.

Asked by JimT.
This question was asked about the related product: AfterShokz - Aeropex Wireless Bone Conduction Open-Ear Headphones - Eclipse Blue
- A:Answer Used device comes with a little card with a barcode for registering it with the company. Their customer service may be able to help you with this situation. I would suggest that you return them to the store or place that you purchased them from originally because most companies have a return policy. And all you have to do is inform them that the device does not sit comfortably as it is designed.
