Our headphones work via bone conduction by sending vibrations from the temporal bone through the inner ear to the cochlea, therefore, if you have a healthy cochlea, then you should be able to hear using our headphones. My brother has some hearing loss in one ear, and was very pleased to find that with this bone conduction headset he could hear on both sides. But the headset isn't magic; your hearing loss has to be caused by something the bone-conduction can bypass. You might need to talk to your doctor about it. You can, of course, as with any headset, make the stereo signal into a mono signal and listen with only one ear. But I don't think that's what you were asking.
