- Answer I think you would have to get a carpenter to cut a hole in your wall, hopefully you don't have an apt or condo because that would probably not be allowed. Cutting a hole in a wall would go beyond the level of expertise of installers.

QuestionI have a wall unit air conditioner that needs to be installed. It is 11,800 btu's. The old wall unit has to be taken out. They will have to cut out an replaster the area for the new air conditioner. It is 3 inches shorter in length.
