QuestionAre you able to use this for Ethernet connection only? or do you need the wireless due to that's how it connects to the existing network? Or can you purchase another one and use it in a power-line kit type fashion?

- Answer The extender picks up your existing WiFi signal and provides a WiFi hotspot which can extend your existing WiFi network. The extender does have an ethernet port so that you could attach an ethernet device, like a printer without WiFi, to a location where you do not otherwise have ethernet cabling but do have a WiFi signal that the extender can connect to. - Answer There is a WPS button for quick and easy setup with your router. But is is also possible to set the WiFi extender up using an iPhone as well as an Android device.

QuestionALC, You said that the extender will work as far as the wi-fi signal allows?? That is vague. Example; I bring my tablet outside when working in the garage, but it will only pick up the wi-fi signal 6 ft from the corner of our house. The garage is 25 ft.

- Answer Hello, the WiFi extender boosts the WiFi signal from your router. So, I would recommend placing the WiFi extender somewhere between the router and the garage (assuming this middle area has WiFi signal that our extender can boost).

- Answer Hi thank you for your question. Yes all you do is plug it in and use the WPS button to sync with your home router and it will copy the name and password over for you. The distance will be dependent on your setup but normally will carry the signal as far as WiFi distance allows. Thank you again feel free to call custom service with any other questions. - Answer The Quick Start Guide that comes with the extender shows you how to set it up and get it connected to your Wi-Fi. After that you can plug in your photoframe for an internet connection.

- Answer The easiest way to set up the AMR300N is to use the WPS button. First you need to make sure that your Wi-Fi router has the WPS button enabled (some routers have this set to Off as default). Then press the WPS button on the router and then press it on the AMR300N. Otherwise you would just follow the instructions in the included Quick Start Guide. It cannot just be a plug and play device since it needs to have your specific Wi-Fi information to work.

- Answer Hi, thank you for your question, since you will "pair" this extender with your router it will not read or connect to your neighbors signal. This will be specific to your network. Thank you.

QuestionI’m trying to get a wireless signal from my home router to my shop. It is approximately 40’ from my house. The shop has metal siding and a metal roof. Would that interfere with the signal?

- Answer Yes it would. Metal makes it extremely difficult for a Wi-Fi signal to pass through. This would not be a good solution for you.

QuestionI'm working with a wireless card reader on a vending machine. The area where they are is not compatible and would like to bring the signal, using the 110V line to bring the phone signal into the room so that they will work. Any suggestions?

- Answer I am not sure exactly what you are trying to do, but this item connects to Wi-Fi only and acts as a repeater to boost the Wi-Fi signal. Nothing to do with phone signals.

- Answer We can't be sure, but my guess is yes they should. But if you are already using these pods and need additional coverage, my suggestion is to get another one of those. They are designed to work together and create a "mesh" network which should be more effective.

QuestionSo, if I have a secure router password it transfers to the wifi extender? It has not asked for the password and says it is unsecure.

- Answer During the setup process for the Extender, when you select your Wi-Fi network for it to connect to, it also asks for your Wi-Fi password. When you input that password it also becomes the password for your extender.
