“So, if I have a secure router password it transfers to the wifi extender? It has not asked for the password and says it is unsecure.”

• During the setup process for the Extender, when you select your Wi-Fi network for it to connect to, it also asks for your Wi-Fi password. When you input that password it also becomes the password for your extender.
