I just want to clear up a little misinformation given. Screen refresh rate (60Hz, 120Hz, etc.) is not a limiting factor when it comes to the frame rates a system can push. In general, you can definitely obtain higher frame rates than what a screen's max refresh rate is.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.2 things here you need to know: - if its a demanding game (far cry 5, gta 5, witcher 3) on high it goes more than 70 fps and on Ultra its around 40ish fps, if its a lower demanding then yes 80+ - BUT to see all those fps you need a panel that can refresh more than 60HZ. so if you get the G-Sync 60HZ panel, you will only see 60 fps, no matter how many fps the system is capable of producing, if you get the G-Sync 120 HZ panel then you can see upto 120 fps ish.
