Q: QuestionSpecs claim this has 4 x m.2 slots but users state that these units only have 4 x m.2 slots when the expansion board is installed in the 2.5" drive bay and Dell only includes that when you order a unit with 4 x m.2 ssds. Does this unit have 4 x m.2 slots?

• A:Answer Allow me to answer my own question now that I've received the unit... it DOES NOT, in fact, have the additional 2 m.2 slots (Despite the Dell rep response) and you would have to order a number of additional parts (over 20) from Dell in order to install the interposer board... if they had them, which they don't, despite the Dell rep I spoke with earlier assuring me they had everything in stock and just needed my service tag, and won't for the foreseeable future (per Dell on 5/25/2021 @ 1630est). This is the second high end Alienware I've ordered and the second I'm sending back where it came from.

• A:Answer Yes. The Dell Team answer is wrong. The CPU can be upgraded as long as it’s the same Generation. This model up to 10th Gen i9-10900k. The GPU up to GeForce RTX 2080 Super. I received this info directly from Dell Technical Support.
