Of course it is but it's really not needed. Unless the hum of the fan gets your pantaloons in a bunch. The current setup of this machine and the fan cooling is thoughly tested before its ever brought to market (especially from a large producer like dell/alienware). There is no "viewing" window to see the tube or anything like that and the current setup keeps the chips well within spec that intel recommends even after 6 hours on max settings of AAA gaming titles. If you check out the alienware forums you can get the exact part number and add it later if you really wanted too but as the machine stands its more then fine. It around $300 ($200 used).
