Hi, this is a super solid gaming system. To build this unit was going to run right around 1100 I thought for a couple hundred more I could have a warranted system and if I was not satisfied I could return it. Got to benchmark website and put in the components. It will show you how this scores. Hope this helps.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. At this moment, (Early 2018) there has been a large inflation of GPU prices due to cryptomining. It is traditionally cheaper to build your own, but now it is better to get a prebuilt due to prebuilts having to stick as close to msrp (release price) as possible and not imflate the price drastically due to thebinflation of internal specs. The 1080 Ti goes for over 1000 online today.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Right now, I'd recommend buying a pre-built machine as the price of graphics cards are insane right now. I've seen GTX1070 cards, the same as this, going for almost $900. Might as well get a whole computer with impressive specs added on for a few hundred more! Plus, you'll also get the Dell warranty which is nice.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. If you are tech savy and understand how to match components and configure a machine, you can probably save some dollars by building it yourself (plus the satisfaction of knowing you did it). However, if you are skilled in this area, you may find yourself over your head and if you have problems with the configuration settings or components, you will have to spend dollars to have someone else repair the machine. The cost savings for building it yourself is not more than 10% of the total cost of the machine.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Well it really depends your level of computer expertise if you're asking this question its probably better to go with this Pre Built model. Check out my Review for a more detailed answer.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It's always better when you buy separately because your build will be exactly what you're looking for but some pre made computers are a great start and are fully upgradeable therefore allowing you build up to the computer your looking for. It all depends on the specs you want and the type of games you want to play. The better the hardware the better your games will run and look.
