Pretty sure you can pop in an M.2 real easy and there are many easy to use drive migration apps where you can just move your boot sector over and then keep the old SATA as just media storage/archive. Samsung EVO seems to be the best value here. Drop $150 and get a solid boost on an already solid rig...

Please try again later.Not sure why you would want to install a SSD on this computer since it comes with Intel's Optane memory which increases system speed and responsiveness to SSD levels for a less $. But if you are into spending money it can be done but pretty sure it would require a fresh install of Windows. If you have your heart set on a SSD system I would suggest buying a computer already configured that way.
