There is an m.2 SSD slot on the mother board but it is occupied with the Intel Optane memory card. I have read it is possible to clone the OS and replace the Optane memory with your own m.2 SSD of your choice. Note - I have not tested this....this is what I have come across in my searching for the answer to this same question. I opened the PC and the slot on the motherboard is 100% there and occupied. Also some have stated the Samsung Evo m.2 card will not be recognized...again what I have read in my research.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have so far replaced the Optane chip with a Samsung EVO970 500GB and reinstalled Windows via a usb recovery. Works great but I cannot get it to recognize the original 2TB HDD for extra storage yet.
