I’m using this monitor with my Xbox until I get my pc. The problem is I can’t get to the normal desktop screen like windows and stuff, only an input screen. Can I fix this or do I have to wait till pc comes to use the normal desktop screen?

Its a monitor screen, when you will connect your PC you will see that desktop whatever it carries.

Upto 3 devices can be connected concurrently. And u can switch them by using that input option.

2 via HDMI and 
1 via display port (most pc has it)

This is just a normal display without the desktop tower or a laptop, with your Xbox it will only serve as a display.
