- Answer Yes, you can use an HDMI to DisplayPort cable to use G-SYNC compatibility, but it requires the right HDMI to DP cable and/or adapter that allows for uplink/downlink of data as some are only one way. The monitor also has HDMI ports so you also go for the HDMI.
