Not a dumb question at all 🙂 and yes, you absolutely can rotate it. Alienware AW2725D rotation (pivot) support. The Alienware AW2725D comes with a fully ergonomic stand that supports pivot rotation: Rotate 90° clockwise or counter‑clockwise (landscape ↔ portrait). Height adjustment, Tilt, Swivel. Dell’s official user guide shows the pivot adjustment and explicitly illustrates rotating the display 90° for portrait mode.
