“Is there a specific reason this and other systems are phasing out Numerical Keypads on their laptops?”

• Numeric keyboards are almost always included in an 18 in laptop. 16 in seems to small to have one included.

• Probably helps with size of keyboard and cost. The last three laptops I have had did not have numeric keypads and I didn't really miss them. I must say that the Alienware M16 keyboard feels really great.
