This answer will vary widely depending on how you use it. If you are gaming; no, the battery will drain very quickly. If you turn down the screen brightness and do nothing but surf the web, you may be able to get 3-4 hours. The laptop is definitely intended for gaming more than battery life, but with having a big 17" fast display and a high end CPU, the fact that I can get that long of battery astounds me, personally. I remember when getting an hour and a half or less of battery on a gaming laptop was considered good.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No the battery life sucks. I get about 2 hours off the plug-- basically use it exclusively while charging. I also saw a noticeable decline in FPS while the laptop was unplugged.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I get about 4 hours with typical use. This laptop is all about gaming performance, not all day business computing.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It performs better than most in it's class. It's a gaming laptop, so it's not going to last a long time due to power requirements from all those souped up components. It will run for about 4 hours of normal surfing. If you tax it with a demanding game, it drops to 90 minutes or so depending on your settings. Like I said, that is pretty darn good for this class of laptop.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. In my usage and gaming off the cord, it only lasted about an hour and a half. Maybe because of the taxing the processor while playing a game, have the fans blowing pretty much full blast could be contributing factors of fast dissipation of the battery.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Battery life on a large screen gaming laptop is never long. Long enough to type out some emails and do some web browsing sure but long is a relative term in the case of a gaming laptops.
