• No you can not expand it . The ram is soldered to the mother board. You would have room configure it that way and order it.

• Do not listen to the response from "YourDellTeam", on Dell's website regarding the Alienware m17 r3, no, you cannot upgrade the RAM. The 16GB is soldered in so make sure 16GB is what you want. 16GB is still good but I would recommend a minimum of 16, especially if you are going to do gaming, streaming, or video editing.

• Yes, you can increase the memory to 32 GB ( 2 x 16 GB ).
