They straps are actually quite comfy. I was surprised. I have a very heavy laptop and I can’t tell when it’s on my back.

Adding the tablet shouldn't make a huge difference, but it should fit in the middle or front pocket easily. Overall the straps aren't the most padded, and are actually pretty thin using a sort of neoprene with a gel like foam material inside. That being said, they may not wear out as fast as something with a really spongy foam strap. This pack also does have an adjustable height chest buckle to help balance the weight. If i were completely honest though, I'm sure there are more comfortable bags foe the price, however it just looks too cool so I picked this one for myself.

One of them ended up buying the back pack and AW rolling case after trying mine out as the AW17 is slightly larger in dimensions than the SC17, so it fits well. It's definitely got a little weight to it, but the shoulder strap doesn't bother me for short carries, for any duration, you'll want to use both straps as it will slide around on your shoulder with movement during single strap use due to the weight of our laptops.
