Unfortunately, this inverter failed to work as expected, for me in the Philippines. Maybe I had the only 'lemon', but it failed to work for me during our visit in the PI, and connected to their 220V. I detected a faint 'burned elect. smell' immediately after my first attempt with plugging it in.
