Yes it does. But for iPhones and iPads no converter is needed since the chargers are 120/240V Hairdryers up to 1800 Watt should function without problems with this converter. Since we have a hairdryer suitable for 120/240 V I have not used the converter for that. Needed it for some other equipment like a Waterpik and electrical toothbrush.
