Being able to use this adapter/converter with your hair dryer is going to depend on how much wattage the hair dryer uses, and whether or not it is dual voltage. If your hair dryer can use either 110V or 220V, then you will only need to use the adapter to adapt the plug types and this mode has a maximum wattage of 575. If your hair dryer can only use 110V input, then you will have to use the adapter to adapt the plugs and the converter to convert the power. In this mode you can go up to 1875 watts but you can only use this for 10 minutes at a time. You will need to allow ample time for it to cool down between voltages. Do not leave the converter plugged in when not in use.
