Define "best setting" If you wire your sub(s) to the lowest 2ohm this amp allows then you'll be in good shape, but there are MANY FACTORS to setting your system. You have to research your sub settings first. Is it a dvc 2ohm or 4ohm, are you running 1,2,3 subs? Is it a Dual voice coil or single... Did you adjust it by alpines recommend tuning settings? Poter box, sealed, etc.. when you buy subs and amps there more to it than just buying it and plugging wires into holes. Series/parallel wiring also depends on amp specs, number of subs, cubic ft recommend for each sub box etc... You have to be more specific about what your tuning.
