This unit does not support cd's according to Alpines website, however, the ILX 207 does. The following is from Alpines website: "The iLX-207 is mechless, but you can still enjoy DVD video entertainment while parked by easily adding the DVE-5300 DVD Player to playback these formats: CD audio, MP3, WMA, MPEG2 AAC, MPEG4 AAC, WAV, DVD-Video, DVD-VR, and Video CD."
