“What is recommended for this sub a ported box or a enclosed? Pros and cons of both as well. I’m running a single 12 under my back seat in my ram2500”

Please try again later.A ported box will give you more deep base sound but enclosed box will damper the sound a little bit so it depends on what you’re looking for if you regularly run more bases sound like rap and some rocks than the ported box will work perfect for what you would like to do as I had to do, but if you wanna listen to kind of everything then enclosed box will work perfectly fine depending on the type of music you’re listening to but I have always felt that ported works better all around and that’s what I did for three of my vehicles are usingI don’t make up the box is a lot easier that way
