“Can the lights be turned off in a way that I don't have to cycle through them every time I turn on the speaker? I never use the lights, so it would be simpler to just turn the lights off once and they stay off until I turn them on again.”

Uhh hey, that irritates me too. I hate the lights. I don’t like them one bit what so ever. I only chose this thing because it is black and I didn’t want the ugly looking mint green one that doesn’t have these dumb lights which also leech from the battery. And…… I’ve had it like maybe one week now and the thing won’t even charge or turn on anymore so yeah that’s just great as well. And the serial number wipes off real easy too and I no longer have the receipt, so I guess I’m stuck with this paper weight bright that once had fancy lights, that weren’t even that fancy.
