• Hi there - the HydraMii Speaker comes with a USB-C to USB-A cable. This can be used in a car's USB slot.

• Yes, it is a bit on the short side at around 1ft in length. USB outlets in cars, aren't usually close when you need them. If your phone uses a USB "C" cord, you will already have the short charging cord problem solved. If not, plan on spending about $10-12 or more for a cord.
