“We bought the speaker Dec 23 from BestBuy in San Diego (Chula Vista) CA. The on/off button has ceased to turn on the speaker. The blue light flashes for a limited period. I was not able to perform the drain down technique. Common problem?”

I had that sane thing happen to me.... in my case, someone had put the rubber casing on backwards so that my power button and volume + were switched. So when I figured that out I held the volume up button down and it turned on. So then I just took the cover off and put it back on the right way. :)
