How many pictures does it hold null

I cannot recall the storage, I gave it as a gift. However, it can take a USB so literally 1000s of pictures.

I don't know the maximum amount, but I loaded almost 1,200 photos into it and didn't reach the limit. You can also use a flash drive or memory card if you want more pictures than the frame's memory allows. The frame has ports for those. It just wouldn't look as streamlined.

Depends on the file size of your photos. It has a substantial amount of built-in memory - 4 GB. Should easily hold over 1000 photos unless you have super high-quality, large file size photos. It also has a SD card slot for expandable memory storage.
