This unit comes with 4GB of internal memory. You will want to save some of that space for the Frame OS to operate, just like with a computer, but it should handle 500+ photos providing they are not too large. We recommend scaling photos to 1600x1200 resolution for this frame. You can also play photos directly from the USB or SD memory card slots. Make sure your memory cards are 32GB or smaller.
