• Yes a standard SD Card or you can use a micro card if you have the adapter to a standard size card. Yes, Jpeg photos are used.

• YES to both your questions . it works with a standard SD card. a Micro card will only work if you have the adapter. you load the photos onto your SD card, insert the card info the frame and choose the length of time you want each picture displayed. you pick one setting for all the pictures you can not choose a length of display for each picture seperately.
