NO, it is not touch screen. You preload the photos of your choosing and load them onto a a Standard SD card. then insert the card into the frame, power up and it begins automatically. On the Frames menu options you can choose how long you want the pictures displayed before moving to he next picture.I t will play in an endless loop until you power it off.
