I do not think the Chromebook is compatible in terms of sending photos to the frame. This is mostly because Chrome OS is designed to work off the cloud. It is not designed for local storage. You may be able to update drivers and Chrome OS settings to get the connection but whether this will allow transfer of files on local storage to the frame is not known. The frames will work best with Windows or Mac OS computers in terms of direct transfer of files using a USB cable.
