Yes this item can be used in a bed setting. I'm not sure if it is reversible but it have room on both sides for the mouse or speakers
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The ledges/rests are made for right-handed mouse use, but they aren't permanently attached, just pegs into holes, so if you're handy with a drill, you could drill matching holes on the other side for left-handed use.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It does work in a bed setting sitting up, but can wobble just a little if you move around and your mattress isn't firm. Watching a movie on the screen in bed is often better reclined with the laptop on your chest or to the side on a pillow, so I personally don't use it much in bed, but it does work. I love it for my easy chair. The fan is offset to the left and the ledge on the right for securing the mouse (which is soft rubber and shaped differently) can't be SWITCHED with the ledge on the left for securing the laptop (when the top is tilted), although both ledges can be completely removed. You would want the ledges for when the top is tilted to keep the laptop and mouse from sliding off. Frankly, I hardly ever use my fan, so I think a left handed person would only be slightly inconvenienced by the ledges and fan being oriented for a right handed person. Therefore, it is not reversible, but still is pretty useful to a left handed person.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I use it in my bed constantly, that's what it's designed for. It is pretty much designed for right handers only. The way the fan and stop blocks are set up it's not reversible from the front but you can definitely just swing the whole thing back but then again you lose the tilt down functionality. As a generic tray you can pull the little stoppers out and use it with your left hand but then the fan won't line up under your laptop.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, it can be used in the bed. It has adjustable heights & tilts. It will hold a larger device on the left lip & a smaller on the right lip, when tilted up. But one can go all the way across. I can use my 12.9 iPad or lesser, portrait or landscape. And hang the case lid over. I'm a rightie, but there's nothing to block a leftie that I can tell.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.See no reason it can't be used in bed. Could be used by left handed method but then pc wouldn't be over the cooling fan and would be slightly elevated on one side.
