“purchased and hooked up to the back of the tv with the RCA jack, paired with my airpods 2nd generation and can only hear mono out of the left ear. Any ideas of why and if can be hooked up so stereo comes out? Thank You”

I've had the same problem when connected to a computer. I made sure the cable was tight at all connections, and that fixed it.
