• Yes, it is a bluetooth transmitter. I have mine connected to the audio out of my TV and sync it to my bluetooth headset , note: range is good up to 15~20ft

• Yes, you could use this Bluetooth transmitter via your audio device’s headphone jack. You will probably need to get an adapter to make it work depending on what type of audio device that you’re using.
