The microphone does not mute while someone else is talking. However, the person on the other end will not hear themselves speaking through your mic.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.That feature is software related and done via the app that you are using, in this case zoom. The device itself has a mic and this gets muted or unmuted via the zoom app. Video conferencing apps will program their software to cancel audio coming through the speakers so it doesn't end up as disturbing feedback. The webcam itself doesn't do this.
