The image quality is adequate for small-format images (like a crowded Zoom call). At full resolution, the image looks pixelated and the low-light performance is bad (see attached photo). The build quality is very cheap. There is no auto-focus, and don't bother trying to rotate the focus ring without pliers. The metal clip doesn't grip the top of the screen correctly, and could scratch the screen coating if you don't pad it. The only positive things I can say is that windows 10 immediately recognized the camera and the face recognition appears to work if the room is bright enough. If this camera were under $30, I would be satisfied. At a pandemic-inflated $99, the quality is unacceptable. Unfortunately, I needed it for my son's virtual computer camp, so I have to take what's available.

The sound and picture are great. The only gripe I have is that I would like the camera to be able to tilt side-to-side.

This is a great camera. I purchased it for doing live stream shows with my band and it is much better than the built in camera on my MacBook Pro. Crisp, sharp image with good color and picks up a lot of light. Setup was plug and play. No driver installation was necessary. The fact that it looks like something from a 90's Sci-Fi movie is a nice bonus. My only minor complaint is that I wish there was a little more spring tension in the monitor clip to hold it in place more firmly. It's fine if you don't touch it but can change position if the cord or computer gets moved.

It's nothing special just a funcional webcam that is good enough. Photo was sonewhat grainy. The metal base which used to anchor it needs some rubber on it imo to prevent scratching and to get a secure hold. It also needs some color correcting doesn't do well with dark colors. For $20-30 it's a solid webcam. Anything over that and I'd try something else. The best thing about it and the only thing I have no qualms with is the mic; it iis really good at picking up audio.

Worked right out of the box, plugged it in, selected it in Skype and done! Very good picture, too. The manual focus is a little hard to use (ring protected by the 3 triangular guards) but once focused, it stays focused. It also has a tripod mount threaded hole, it is in a tight space, but works well.

The camera works perfect for what I need. Teams, WebEx and Zoom meetings work great. The video is clear and I did not have to use the focus. The mic has not been an issue, like with other cameras, everyone can hear my voice, It was simple to install and attach to my monitor, my computer (Win 10) recognized the camera after I plugged it to my USB port. The price of the camera is a bit lower now from what I paid.

I needed a webcam and microphone for my desktop computer to be able to join a ZOOM class at my church. After research I picked this Aluratek 1080HP webcam with microphone because it was plug and play and I am not very tech savvy. It worked as advertised. I am well pleased. It has a great picture and sound. I also like the six foot cord which was ample to reach the computer tower which is under my desk. I have a 23" monitor and I really enjoy the clear HD picture.

I love it. On Zoom meetings I notice some people have better cameras than others. This is among the best. It doesn't make ME look any better but the quality of the picture is sharp and clear. Super easy, too. Just plug it in and you're good. I also like how easy it is to put on my laptop or set up on it's stand on a separate table. Very clever design.

I have to say, there are not many good Webcams that also have a nice microphone. This particular webcam has been extremely helpful to online meetings. It is a very good product that works well. I can also say that does a good job with the camera rest. It fits on top of screens very well and is easily adjustable.

Great Webcam! It does what you need it to do. 1080p Looks great. I haven't really noticed the 'red hue' of the camera image that others have discussed. This camera is a phenomenal value. The hook mechanism is awesome because it allows the camera to be able to be mounted in a wider variety of settings. Also I think it's a really cool looking camera... Has a vintage, art decoy vibe to it.

My sons have been using this webcam for over a year. One uses it for work at home and the other uses it for college. It has provided a great usage for 1080P even though our internet loses connection. I just wish there was a light and better focusing because my son had to verify his identity with his school card for proctored tests. He said it doesn’t have clear focus.

Great webcam, Picture quality was good and the mic was pretty good as well. Easy set up and worked well on a low end PC.

It arrived quickly, I opened it, plugged it in, then did my zoom call. Works perfectly, stays on my monitor, and has high quality image. I couldn't be happier.

Picture is very clear and speaker is very clear on my computer as well as other computers on Skype with me. So far, I'm very satisfied with this purchase.

The only issue I have is working with the brightness. I am a teacher doing distance learning and when I show a video on a whiteboard, it is way to bright. Still learning to use it. Great results in everything else.

I bought this as a Deal of the Day, so I got it at a very attractive price. Setup was extremely easy. I just plugged it in to a USB port, let Windows setup do its thing, and was operational in about a minute. There was no software to install or configure. I have used the camera for both Zoom and Google meetings with good results.

Works great with Zoom! Audio is clear, picture is clear...what more do you need out of a webcam? I love it! Easy to use and set up. I’m a tech novice, so if I can use it...anyone can. I recommend this for those of us who aren’t really into gadgets, but need this gadget.

This camera is AMAZING!!! First of all, it looks very cool (my dad said it looks like a transformer for some reason) and I love the fact that you can basically set it up anywhere, it can sit on your monitor without damaging anything, you can turn it anywhere so it catches all 360 degrees in one place, you can prop it up and put some weird angles on it. Video quality is really clear and pretty bright too. Very well built and worth the money.

We bought the Aluratek HD camera for our grandaughter as part of her remote school configuration. The video is very clear in Zoom and other image systems we have used. The sound is very clear also. It can be positioned in a variety of locations and holds firmly once it is set.
