A:Answer The light was bright enough to get you going in the dark, but not cause any harm to your eye. I used "was" because after about a few months of constantly plugged in, it has become so dim that I can't call it "light" it is dimmer than a tea light candle. Not sure if the bulbs inside are burned, but it did not maintain its brightness in a few months time. The USB ports work fine.
