Most likely not. Usually the vehicle needs the icon on the stereo screen showing, even when your phone is not connected via USB. You can certainly try and take the unit back if it does not work. Vehicles from 2015 to 2025 with the icons built in usually work great. Maybe ask the dealer where you purchased your vehicle and see if they would know.
