• Uses USB connection/port to charge - can use an AC plugin adapter or connect to computer

• Transmitter is charged by the USB port on the TV, assuming you are using it to watch TV. The headphones have to be charged using a transformer, plugged into a regular 120 volt outlet and a USB cord to connect the headphones to that transformer.
