“Can this be used on a TV without bluethooth? Probably a dumb question, but does the transmitter provide the bluethooth for the headphones?”

• Yes. You can plug the transmitter into any audio output on the tv and it transmits to the headphones. My mother in law is in a nursing home and has an older model tv with a headphone jack. We plugged into that and it works great.

• You plug the cable from the audio optical out port into the transmitter. The transmitter then sends the the Bluetooth signal to the earphones. The optical cable is provided. If your TV doesn't have an optical output there is a another cable provided that will work. It was an easy setup. It took me less than 5 minutes.
