How do you mute the headphones null

Press the MFB (power button) at the same time as you press the playback control dial in (play/pause). Repeat to unmute.

Press the MFB and the playback control dial at the same time; unmute the same way. The instructions that come with the headset say "Play/Pause Button" rather than "dial", and don't use "playback control" to describe it, but since it is a combination of a rocker and a button in one control, I've taken to giving it that name. (The instructions that come with it could be better.)
