• The shelves are NOT glass I wish I had thought to check on that before we bought this model. I would not have done so if I had realized that the shelves were wire.

• My niece’s refrigerator kicked the bucket. Her refrigerator had glass shelves. One of those glass shelves fit my freezer, perfectly (after I removed the useless tiny wire shelf in the freezer). I suggest measuring your freezer where a shelf would go and trying to find one online.
